Presented by Blockchain at UCLA in partnership with LA Blockchain Week: Art on the Blockchain with Intaglio.
Intaglio is a blockchain company that provides a way for artists, collectors, and museums to verify the authenticity and provenance of artwork. Intaglio has a product that lets you digitally tag pieces of artwork and have that information stored on a blockchain. Hear from the folks behind Intaglio’s innovations in blockchain-based intellectual property management: Stuart Haber, whose cryptographic research is cited in the Bitcoin whitepaper, along with colleagues Loni Efron, James Garfinkel, and George Lambert. They’ll discuss the Intaglio project, demo the technology, and more. In addition there will be an open discussion for all students on the impact of blockchain in all areas of commerce and study.
FOOD WILL BE PROVIDED!
